Hotel Violations as outlined in Article 24 of the AFA Contract:

  • Hotel rooms not meeting minimum standards such as single occupancy, non-smoking, located on the 2nd floor or higher, no exterior corridors, no adjacent rooms, equipped with elevators, double locks on doors, free internet, safe location, and 24-hour food availability in the vicinity.
  • Hotel rooms not being clean and available for check-in within 30 minutes of arrival.
  • Failure to provide alternate accommodations within 90 minutes if the initial hotel room is unavailable or unsuitable.
  • Not providing suitable transportation between the airport and hotel when required.
  • Requiring Flight Attendants to use personal credit cards for hotel check-in except in unforeseen or unusual circumstances without assistance from Crew Scheduling.
